Description
The tinkerBOY M0100 Mouse To USB Converter is an adapter that converts any old Apple Macintosh 9-pin(DE-9 / DB9) mouse to USB so you can use it to any modern computer with USB port. It’s compatible with Windows, MacOS, and Linux machines.
It works with the following Apple Macintosh mouse:
- M0100 – Apple Macintosh Mouse.
- A9M0050 – Apple Lisa Mouse.
- A2M2050 – Apple II Mouse.
- A2M4015 / A2M4035 – Apple IIc Mouse.
- A2M2070 – Apple IIe Mouse.
NOTE: The two tabs (see picture #5 that is part of the DB9 plastic shell of the adapter that support the 9-pin(female) metal port might hinder you from plugging your Apple Lisa mouse all the way in so you just need to make a little space for the plastic housing of the mouse connector to plug in easily. You can use a flat screw driver to loosen the two tabs away from the 9-pin female port to make space but just a little bit. Please see pictures #4 and #9 as my Apple Lisa mouse is plugged in comfortably. Or if you’re just testing your Lisa mouse for a short time you don’t really need to plugged it all the way in as that will still work.
