This is the recommended back case mod for my tinkerBOY Speaker 4O2W. You don’t even need to glue the speaker to the front case.

which volume wheel is needed for this one?

Just get the 3Pin volume pot if you don’t have one yet. The 5pin should also work.
So will this not work with Helder’s MegaBat? It seems to protrude too far into the battery compartment.
Sorry I haven’t tried that battery. Do you know the dimensions?
I can confirm that it fits! The back of the speaker sits pretty much flush with the inner surface of the battery compartment
